Free SVMHS Ask the Experts Event in Spanish
Women’s Health: Menopause

Sonia Rodriguez, MDSalinas, CA, April 16, 2014 – Sonia Rodriguez, MD is the featured speaker at a free Ask the Experts event offered by Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS). Dr. Rodriguez will make her presentation in Spanish on the subject of Women’s Health and Menopause.

Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from UCSF School of Medicine and has her board certification in family practice and board certification in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish and has been practicing medicine for 30 years, including 23 years in Monterey County. The SVMHS Ask the Experts Spanish presentation on menopause is free of charge.

SVMHS kicked off its 2014 Ask the Experts lecture series in February at the National Steinbeck Center during heart month. At that time, SVMHS provided Spanish translation services for the audience. The presentation by Dr. Rodriguez is the first to be offered exclusively in Spanish. SVMHS is pleased to announce it will offer Spanish translation service at all future English language Ask the Expert Events.

The Ask the Experts Spanish presentation Women’s Health: Menopause will take place Thursday, April 24 at 6pm. Dr. Rodriguez will be speaking at the SVMHS Downing Resource Center - Room A, at 450 E. Romie Lane in Salinas, located in the lower level of the parking structure. While reservations are not required for this free community event, they are recommended, as seating is limited.
