Free SVMHS Ask the Experts Event: Keeping Healthy in your Senior Years
Salinas, CA, March 27, 2014 – Christine Ponzio, MD is the featured speaker at an upcoming free Ask the Exerts event offered by Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System (SVMHS). Aging in America is not what it used to be – people are living longer and with proper education can stay active well into their senior years. Dr. Ponzio’s presentation will explore key areas of a wellness program and offer advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ponzio is a board certified family practice physician. She grew up in Soledad and has served the health care needs of the community through a private practice in Gonzales since 1984. Dr. Ponzio finished medical school in 1981 at UC San Diego School of Medicine, completed her internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and her residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center. She has enjoyed privileges at SVMHS for nearly 30 years.
The Ask the Experts presentation Keeping Healthy in your Senior Years will take place Wednesday, April 16 at 6pm. Dr. Ponzio will be speaking at the SVMHS Education Center, 611 Abbott Street in Salinas.
